Alexis and Piper observing Grandma K's famous hotcakes.
Papa K and Piper on their way to feed the goats that live next door to Great-Grandma K's house.
There are three goats in all. The one we call the baby goat (he has horns) always gets pushed out of the way by his aggressive roommates. The latter are so eager for something to nibble that they'll go after your clothing if you don't profer up the goods promptly.
After the goats, Grandpa K and Piper take a walk to the footbridge over the creek. On one side of the creek lies Great-Grandma K's backyard, on the other is a veritable wilderness of beautiful birch trees, evergreens, and even a lone apple tree.
