We decided to drive up to New Hampshire to sight-see and to pick our own apples. On the way through the countryside, we happened upon this little town that was holding its rather large Pumpkin Festival. We walked around, soaking up the quintessential New England in-the-fall atmosphere. Piper also got her groove on with the local bands playing.
From there, we hopped back in the car to continue on to the apple orchard (also in the New Hampshire countryside.) If anyone needs a great activity for an active two year old, I highly recommend picking your own apples. It was a gorgeous day, and we had a blast picking (and eating) for quite a while.
